Made of Japanese Hiba wood and copper hoop.
Perfect for bathing or washing up small items.
As widely used as bath bucket, this item is highly resistant to humidity thanks to the anti-mould properties that is contained in Hiba wood.
Please note this item would be too small as a foot bath bowl.
Hiba is one of the most valued types of wood in Japan. It is of cypress family and well known for its fresh grassy scent. Highly durable, resistant to water and anti-septic, Hiba has been widely used from building of temples to insect repellent, and tested by time. The properties contained in this wood is proved to be anti-bacterial naturally, and utilized in many way.

Care
This item is meant to be used for bathing and highly resistant to humidity. Howerver we recommend to let this item air-dried completely after use, occasionally turning upside down.
If you leave the bowl unused for long time, the copper hoops can get loose. It is because the natural wood can shrink when very dry and lost natural moisture. If this happened, put the hoops back onto the place and leave the bowl filled with water in full overnight. The wood will regain its moisture and naturally expand.
