Lamp - Sarah Lock
Wooden lamp made by Sarah Lock.
Made in England.
Sarah Lock’s lamps are individually turned and painted, produced in small batches with each piece finished by hand. Each lamp is unique, combining turned wood shapes with painted surfaces, carefully balanced between form and decoration.
Lamp stand and shade are sold separately. You can purchase only a lamp stand, or set of stand & shade. Electric bulb is not included.
All lamps are wired with decorative fabric covered twisted flex and fitted with either a safer switched lampholder or with a plain lampholder and an inline switch, supplied with a plug for use in the UK. They can be adapted for other countries. Please contact for more information.
The lamps conform to BS EN 60598-2-4 and have been assessed as meeting this standard by the Lighting Association (UK).

About the Maker
Based in Brighton, Sarah Lock creates wooden lighting and objects guided by a quiet focus on craftsmanship, material and form. Influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement and her background in fine art, her work balances beauty and utility, bringing warmth and calm to the home.
Working mainly in wood, she shapes each piece with a tactile, considered approach. Her smooth, sculptural finishes are informed by the work of Barbara Hepworth, alongside influences drawn from nature, fashion and film — often sparked by the way lighting and interiors are used in cinema.
