About the Maker
Nomoto Hiroshi is artist based in Karuizawa, Japan. After finishing his degree at Nagoya University of Art, Nomoto was trained as sculptor and art educator. Later he set up his studio in Karuizawa, with his partner and ceramic artist Okano Ricca.
Nomoto's creation is diverse such as art jewelry, sculptural objects, and abstract painting.
Nomoto has exhibited and held residencies widely both in Japan and overseas, including in Germany, Spain, USA, Taiwan, Poland, Slovenia, and the UK.
