Kikuchi Chiki is Japanese artist and picture book author.
Featuring animals as main characters, Kikuchi's narrative is often build around their small but precious moments, celebrating life. The dynamic graphical movement with brush strokes beautifully captures the feeling of the playful little creatures, and reflects their life's fresh perspective. Based in Tokyo, Kikuchi's pictures books acquired wide recognition, and won two awards from The Biennial of Illustration Bratislava (BIB). "White Cat, Black Cat" is one of the awarded titles and his best known book.
