Vintage Sometsuke Yunomi - Sailboat

 
Old Imari porcelain cup with hand glazed Sometsuke (Blue & White) .
Made in Japan between the late Edo period (circa 1780 - 1850) toward Meiji (1868−1912).
 
The style of this Yunomi cup is Koro, that is round, short, and snug in hand.
 
Hand glazed pattern depicts sailboat on the water, one of the motifs wishing for the safe journey and good luck.
