Vintage Japanese Sometsuke Cup

 
Old Imari porcelain cup with hand glazed Sometsuke (Blue & White) .
Made in Japan most likely in the late Edo period (circa 1780 - 1850).
 
The style of this cup is Soba Choku (noodle sauce dip beaker), that is flaring up toward the top.
 
Hand glazed pattern depicts three plants - pine, bamboo, plum - that represent celebration.
Graphical design of the celebratory character 寿 is applied on the inside base. 
Pine leaves pattern along the inside rim.
